# Get Person

`GET https://api.getprospect.com/v2/people/{id}`

Read one person by GetProspect id: the People Enrich profile, with your workspace's saved block and edits and any email or phone your workspace already owns. Costs no credits: it never reveals or charges anything - to reveal an email or a phone, call People Enrich. Uses 1 unit of the enrich rate limit, none when your workspace already owns the person. Returns 404 when the id names no person we can serve.

## Authentication

Pass your API key in the `x-api-key` header.

## Path parameters

- `id` (string, required): The GetProspect person id (24 hex characters). Example: `"64f1a2b3c4d5e6f7a8b9c0d1"`

## Response 401

Missing, unknown or inactive credentials (`UNAUTHORIZED`).

## Response 404

No person we can serve has this id (`NOT_FOUND`).

## Response 429

Over the `enrich` rate limit (`RATE_LIMIT`); wait `Retry-After` seconds. Sent only where rate limits are enforced.

## Response 500

Unexpected server error.
