Alaina's Voice Foundation was created after her life was lost in the mass shooting at Borderline Bar in Thousand Oaks, CA on November 7, 2018. Vision: Be the Positive Change! Focusing on our mission: To help create hope and kindness through education, music and mental health initiatives. Thus far focusing on bridge therapy, getting people the immediate resources to mental health support until they have an option through their providers and such, as many individuals have to wait months to get appointments. Our first music event was with Michael Franti and Spearhead at Blue Note in Napa with over 600 people in attendance, raising money for the foundation. AVF is a recognized 501c3
