EPESA was established to improve public preparedness for natural or man made emergency situations. All businesses should have an emergency plan to deal with identified potential risks, however how many of these plans sit on a shelf gathering dust. EPESA offers a service to test these plans through discussion forums, tabletop or practical training exercises. Many organisations place total reliance on emergency services. Response to emergency situations however is a shared responsibility. EPESA works across small to large organisations including commercial, manufacturing, health, entertainment, education and accommodation. EPESA staff are qualified and have a combined total of over 100 years of experience in a range of emergency service agencies and in the private sector. All staff have experienced what it is like on the coal face and in senior incident management roles at emergencies. We also understand the requirements and importance of a shared responsibility in emergency management.
