The RAIDER Mobile Moving Target System (MMTS) is a modular, scalable and relocatable combined arms target that overcomes the long-standing limitations to training scenario variability, realism and adaptability. The RAIDER MMTS provides a moving target solution where it is needed, when it is needed. The RAIDΞR MMTS is an advanced semi-autonomous robotic ground vehicle that provides realistic, vehicle-sized moving targets that move at speeds of up to 40km/hr (25mph) and can be installed and engaged at any suitable training area around the globe. Its rugged design has proven utility and reliability in the tough Australian conditions, participating in live-fire exercises with M1A1, APC, ARH Tiger, Hellfire and Javelin missiles. The complete system is stowed and transportable in a sea-rated 20ft shipping container, and is compatible with tactical military trucks, such as the HX77. Featuring our own patented on-demand active thermal IR target technology, the RAIDΞR MMTS delivers a true moving target solution with the thermal signature of any vehicle at the push of a button. The RAIDΞR MMTS can be easily set up, moved or reconfigured on-site without the need of special tools, vehicles, berms or lifting equipment, and supports a range of day / night target profiles. Deployment or recovery of the mover down range is made easy using the supplied tow adapters compatible with both white fleet and green vehicles, and a single operator can easily coordinate multiple RAIDΞR MMTSs to expose soldiers to complex engagement scenarios.
