# Monthly vs yearly plans

> Yearly plans cost less and grant 12 months of email and verification credits up front. Phone credits stay monthly; nothing rolls over.

You can pay for any plan monthly or yearly. Pick the cycle with the **Monthly** / **Yearly** switch at the top of the [Plans page](https://app.getprospect.com/settings/subscription/plans).

On a yearly plan you can use the 12 months of credits at any pace. A Growth 5K yearly plan, for example, gives 60,000 email credits on day one.

## Switch from monthly to yearly

1.  Open **Settings** > **Subscription**.
    
2.  Under **Billing cycle**, click **Switch to yearly**. The section shows how much less you pay a year.
    
3.  On the Plans page, check the plan, click **Subscribe** and pay.

The yearly plan starts the day you pay. Plan cards on the yearly tab show the price as a monthly amount and the total "billed yearly".

Prices exclude tax and may change. The Plans page shows current prices.

## FAQ

### Do yearly credits renew every month?

No. Email and verification credits for the whole year arrive when you pay. Only phone credits are granted month by month.

### Can I buy more credits on a yearly plan?

Yes. Upgrade to a bigger plan, or buy verification and phone packs under **Extra credits**. There are no email top-ups.

### Do unused yearly credits carry into the next year?

No. Yearly plans carry nothing over.
