CINUP company description

Over 35 years in the business has given CINUP valuable market experience and a competitive edge. With its unique umbrella design, CINUP allows First Nation and Inuit organizations across the country to purchase group benefits as a large, collective force rather than individually. It’s a “bulk buying” approach that results in a wider range of services and more competitive prices. Together, CINUP organizations save money and gain access to better products and services not generally available to smaller groups or stand alone plans. CINUP believes its strength is in its members; together as one achieving a marketplace power, increasing benefits while decreasing costs. CINUP’s group insurance and pension plans are arranged to accommodate both Status and Non-Status individuals and their families. It's just another way we celebrate the unique and diverse people we serve by offering products and services designed with you in mind. At CINUP, our focus is on valuable clients like you. That’s why you can count on us to always put your needs first. In the Spirit of respect, we honour and acknowledge our head office is on Treaty One territory and the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininew, Oji-Cree, Dene, Dakota, and the Homeland of the Red River Métis Nation. We are grateful and thankful for our water, which comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation Treaty 3 territory, and we understand its significance in light of the many communities who currently do not enjoy the benefit of clean drinking water. We are committed to supporting the interests of Indigenous peoples and communities and we pledge to listen, learn and work together in the spirit of truth and reconciliation.
