The business was established by the Skidmore family in 1981 and quickly grew to provide an expanding range of expert services in Demolition, Dismantling, De-commissioning, Excavation and Civil Services as well as a highly successful Construction and Demolition Materials recycling business. The City Circle Group has established itself as a leading provider in its principal business activities, introducing a number of ‘best practice’ initiatives into its professional services. This is evidenced today, by the major emphasis being placed by City Circle on construction and demolition material recycling and reuse initiatives. Currently, City Circle operates from four locations in Greater Melbourne – Kew (Head Office) Brooklyn Recycling Facility Dandenong Recycling Facility Melton Recycling Facility City Circle understood, that as its core demolition business activities must involve an inherent consideration for the environment, it made sense to take a proactive approach by establishing an integrated recycling business to greatly reduce waste. The way of the future was clearly to transform waste into valuable resources to create more sustainable cities.
