A small think-tank within the Singapore public service, focused on developing insights into future trends, discontinuities and surprises. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Centre for Strategic Futures (CSF) was established in early 2009 to pursue long-term futures research, experiment with methodologies, and build foresight capabilities across the public service. At the same time, the Centre operates very much like a think tank within government, with the freedom to act on issues of strategic importance. CSF is now situated within the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister's Office. This situates it at the heart of the government, with the ability to reach across agency stovepipes.
