Smith and several other Manteno community leaders established Manteno State Bank. Today, we are known as HomeStar Bank & Financial Services and over the years we’ve expanded to serve several communities in Kankakee and Will County. While a few things have changed, we’ve never lost sight of our philosophy to provide our customers modern financial services with the old-fashioned, personal attention that is so hard to find today.
