Laksman Doell

Laksman Doell company description

There's a moment, when you finally decide to ask for help, when everything depends on who you find. You've done the hard part. You've admitted something isn't working. You're ready. And now you need to know that the person waiting for you in that room is genuinely equipped to help. Not almost. Actually equipped. That's the whole reason Laksman Doell exists. Five years ago, Dr. Zoë Laksman and Dr. Faye Doell built this practice around one non-negotiable: every client works with a doctoral-level psychologist. Someone who has completed the full training path. The years of supervised clinical work. The rigorous credentialing this profession demands. That commitment hasn't wavered. It won't. Today, Laksman Doell is a team of nearly twenty doctoral-level psychologists, each chosen not just for what they know but for who they are in the room. We work with adult individuals and couples across Ontario, in person in Toronto and virtually throughout the province. Our work spans anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, couples distress, health psychology, ADHD assessment, sex therapy, and performance coaching. We are the preferred psychology provider for the NHLPA and provide psychological services and workshops for Boston Consulting Group's Toronto office. But none of that is what we lead with when someone calls for the first time. We lead with this: we're going to take care of you. We'll match you with the right person. And the work you do here will matter. If you're a physician, psychiatrist, or HR professional looking for a practice you can refer to with confidence, we'd welcome that conversation. And if you're the person who finally decided to make the call, we're glad you did.
