Mashpee Commons is comprised of a group of land-use practitioners who share the common goal of creating exemplary mixed use, commercial, residential, and conservation-oriented development projects based upon traditional architectural and land-use principles. Unwavering attention to this goal, combined with an acute level of attention to detail in every aspect of the project, from design through financing and construction has resulted in Mashpee Commons becoming a nationally and internationally recognized example of smart growth and traditional town center development. The Commons is home to over 70 locally owned businesses, 14 national stores, and 40 residential apartments. The combination provides variety and convenience. In addition to the shops and residential spaces, Mashpee Commons provides free family-friendly activities and events for the community and visitors throughout the year.
