The Macedon Ranges has a long and fascinating history, and the story of Mount Macedon Winery is no different. Located on the western slopes of Mount Macedon, with impressive views overlooking the Black Forest Valley, MMW sits at 680m above sea level, making it one of the highest altitude wineries in Australia. The MMW vineyard has passed through a few hands over the years and is now very much a grassroots, family-owned business tended to by owners Dylan and Elisha alongside their dedicated crew. Elisha and Dylan want everyone to get the most out of their Mount Macedon Winery experience. Be it a few casual glasses at the cellar door on a Friday afternoon, or a daylong celebration enjoying and exploring the property with friends and family. Mount Macedon Winery Restaurant and Cellar Door is open Thursdays through to Sundays, from 11:30am until 4:30pm. While we love to welcome unexpected guests, we do occasionally host private functions so it’s always best to call ahead and let us know you are on your way!
