PERURI adalah Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh pemerintah. Saat ini Peruri telah bertransformasi menjadi perusahaan teknologi high security, sehingga Pemerintah memberikan kepercayaan kepada PERURI sebagai penyelenggara Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) melalui Peraturan Presiden Nomor 82 Tahun 2023. Sebagai perusahaan teknologi high security, PERURI terus memperkuat pilar teknologi mulai dari Banknotes Printing Technology, Security Printing Technology, Digital Security Technology hingga Government Technology (GovTech). PERURI juga terus memperkuat bisnis inti sebagai pencetak uang Rupiah, paspor, pita cukai, meterai dan dokumen pertanahan sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 6 Tahun 2019.
