Philadelphia Phillies company description

The Philadelphia Phillies are a Major League Baseball club based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1883, the Phillies are the oldest, continuous, one-name, one-city franchise in all of professional sports. Throughout the years, the club has called various stadiums their home, the most notable being Connie Mack Stadium and Veterans Stadium, before finally settling into Citizens Bank Park in 2004. Located in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, the ballpark is widely regarded as one of the premier venues in baseball, providing each fan a one-of-a-kind experience while boasting spectacular game views and concessions featuring some of the city’s most beloved fare. World Champions in 1980 and 2008, the Phillies have provided baseball with some of its most legendary names, from Grover Cleveland Alexander to Richie Ashburn and Mike Schmidt.
