Polytechnique Montréal, founded in 1873, is one of Canada’s leading institutions for engineering education and research and a key reference for engineering research in Québec. Internationally recognized, the university brings together more than 116 research units, nearly 300 faculty members, and collaborates with more than 270 partners worldwide. With more than 10,000 students, Polytechnique Montréal offers more than 120 programs across 12 engineering disciplines and awards more than 2,300 degrees each year. The university is also committed to fostering an inclusive environment, notably by encouraging greater participation of women in engineering. Its Lassonde buildings, the first university buildings in Canada to receive LEED Gold certification, further reflect its strong commitment to sustainable development.
