Russell Hewes is a South London construction company delivering design-led residential projects across London: whole-house refurbishments, extensions, structural alterations and detailed interior work. Design-led means the design leads and the construction is organised around it. Architects and interior designers develop the design. RH brings the construction knowledge: reading the drawings against the building, raising the practical questions early, coordinating the trades and specialists, and carrying the agreed decisions through to the finished home. The position of a doorway, the depth of a floor and the space behind a fitted cabinet are design questions and building questions. We understand the connection, and we prepare the work so that the detail you see at the end has been allowed for from the start. You can come to us with an architect or interior designer already appointed, or before you have assembled a team. We work alongside the professionals you have chosen, and we can introduce trusted independent practices we know through many completed projects together.
