We deliver our services - which include design/build, tenant finish construction, building renovations and additions - throughout the Twin Cities and upper Midwest. In addition to traditional construction services, our approach to project delivery includes "listening", and creative problem solving for complex projects with challenging schedules. James B. Swedenborg founded the company in 1977 as Swedenborg Construction. In 1993 the company name was changed to Swedenborg Shaw Construction, reflecting the addition of John N. Shaw (Jack) to the firm's leadership. Now as Shaw Construction, the Shaw family and our associates continue to build on our tradition of quality, competitive personal service.
