About Skara The future in furniture Skara-Brae was a neolithic settlement in Scotland dating 3000 BC. Houses and stone furniture were excavated at the site showing how early settlers interest in furniture regarding function and design are evident for our early ancestors. Skara was born with the desire to bring furniture with function, design and creativity together into a modern way of living.
