TWUSA is a student-run organization aimed to empower and practically help the Trinity Western University community in a variety of impactful ways. TWUSA strives to serve the TWU student body by cultivating a deeper sense of belonging in everything that we do. There are three pillars under which TWUSA operates. 1) Advocacy 2) Events 3) Services TWUSA works in a number of ways to advocate for the student body. Each elected member was chosen by the students of TWU to be student leaders and representatives. Furthermore, there are appointed members that were chosen to take on certain positions that require a specific skill set. Every member of the TWUSA team is available to present the student voice in committees, informal and formal meetings, administrative planning, events, and more. TWUSA puts on events for All TWU students. With events that range from Can-Am Games and Open Mics to the Connect Conference and the Christmas Gala, TWUSA aims to include and host events for all students. TWUSA provides its services to the student body through a few domains. a) The TWUSA Office i) Free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea ii) Free printing iii) Bookings for events and meetings b) Rentals: Students can rent bikes, light and sound equipment, and much more. c) Textbook Exchange online platform: Using the books2go platform, students can buy and sell used textbooks with other students. https://www.books2go.ca/twu-used-textbooks/ d) Clubs: Check out the TWUSA website to see the various clubs on campus
