VR Maritime Services Private Limited was formed in 2010 and the company began crewing activities from 12th Oct 2011. Today VRM employs Seafarers for various vessels such as : 1) Bulk Carriers, 2) Oil Tankers, 3) Chemical Tankers, 4) Gas Carriers, 5) Offshore vessels, 6) Containers, 7) Heavy Lift vessels, 8) Gantry vessels, 9) Woodchip Carriers etc. We employed 350 Seafarers in 2011 and growing with our clients, in the succeeding year 2012, we employed 895 Seafarers from India. Year 2013 saw steady rise with close to 1000 seafarers being employed. Year 2012 also saw company making bold decisions, resulting in greater benefit for our Seafarers as well as Ship Owners. In the Year 2013, VRM appointed consultants at Chandigarh, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar to have a direct reach among our Seafarers. This is in addition to core business being conducted from Mumbai and traditional support from our branch offices in Delhi and Chennai. 2014, We have implemented Vishaka guidelines at our Office, signed MOU with IMU Chennai, MMTI, GKM and AMET for induction of trainees. New systems and programs implemented in Office to share real time accounts and Fleet personnel data with our Owners and vessels.
