ZESCO company description
ZESCO Limited (ZESCO) is the national electricity utility of Zambia. Wholly owned by the Government of Zambia, through the Industrial Development Company (IDC). ZESCO’s mandate is to generate, transmit, distribute and supply electricity across Zambia. It owns, operates and maintains more than 11,000km of transmission and distribution lines. Its portfolio of power generating assets includes 15 large, medium and small hydro stations and solar PV plants.
