We’ve been right here in New Zealand for Kiwis providing insurance for over 90 years now. On April 5, 2012 AMI began a new era under the ownership of Australia and New Zealand’s largest insurance group IAG. At the same time, a government-owned company, Southern Response, based in Christchurch, became responsible for settling all claims by AMI customers for earthquake damage which occurred prior to April 5, 2012.
