The hospital which was started as Excelsior Nursing home was transformed in to Excelsior Hospital and then as Chazhikattu Hospital. The bed strength is 220. Presently it has 310 staff, 36 Doctors having the Departments like General Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Urology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology, ENT and Dental.
