Embibe company description
Embibe Family makes daily vitamins, minerals and supplements drink-able, delicious and trackable for the whole family. A patented countertop appliance, powder capsules and a smartphone app give each person a fresh drink in seconds, with nothing to swallow or chew, while the app logs every dose, sends reminders and reorders based on real use. It is a new positioning of a company that began as a total-beverage platform; drinks are a later expansion. Problem: about 40% of adults struggle to swallow pills, gummies carry 2 to 5g of sugar and about 1 in 3 supplement users skip most days. Nothing tracks doses across kids, adults and 50+ in one household. Model: razor-and-blade. The $79.99 appliance is sold at cost, using the phone as controller. Profit comes from recurring capsules (about $1.35 each, 63% to 75% margin), with about $40 acquisition cost. Launching holiday 2027 online through Shopify and Amazon in a $72B+ US market; Unilever agreed in 2026 to buy Grüns for a reported $1.2B or more. Moat: unlike pod systems relying on shape patents that expire, our granted patent (11,565,930) ties capsule authentication to the app and a renewable trademark, so knockoffs cannot work in the system. Team: Marc Drucker, a founding leader of Drinkworks by Keurig ($0 to $110M in 3 years), and Dov Glucksman, a 30-year inventor with 120+ patents. Status: pre-revenue, with a working prototype. The model projects 80,000 appliances sold in 2030, $49.5M revenue and EBITDA positive in 2029. Raising $1.3M seed SAFE for tooling, first inventory, app and launch marketing.
