HMG

HMG company description

In heavy industries such as mining, oil and gas, defence, energy and construction, the uptime of your mobile fleet and fixed plant equipment is critical. If they’re not working, millions of dollars could be at stake. Nobody understands this better than HMG. For more than 60 years, we’ve been helping many hard-working companies across the Asia Pacific region to reduce their downtime and improve their bottom line. Any component, any machine, Anywhere. HMG has the heavy engineering capabilities and capacity to make the most of your asset performance. Every job that goes out our doors is Made to Last. Quality is the cornerstone of our process. It’s what we’re known for and it’s what drives us. Day in, day out. And it’s why we’re the heavy engineering partner of choice to leaders such as Thiess, BHP, Glencore, Anglo, Arrow Energy and Cameron. We increase their productivity, performance and profits. At our state-of-the-art Brisbane workshop, we provide a single source for their engineering and manufacturing, blasting, stripping and inspection, surface finishing, assembly and testing and painting and packing requirements. While we are well known as one of the world’s best hydraulic cylinder repairers, we also design, manufacture and refurbish a wide range of components and assemblies such as suspension rods, hitch pins, screen decks, break out preventers, excavator attachments, tubular hangers and wedge wire screens. If it’s made of steel and subject to wear and tear, you can be sure HMG has the capability and capacity to bring it back to its best.
