The Musical Offering is the Twin Cities' premier and longest established chamber music ensemble. Founded in 1971, The Musical Offering presents concerts throughout the year with an ensemble of top-professional musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, University of Minnesota, and University of St. Thomas. An ensemble of strings, winds, and piano creates great variety in programming: pieces range in size from duets to nonets and beyond, incorporating our flexibility in instrumentation to provide a refreshing concert experience. Our ensemble presents chamber music in the intimate and acoustically stunning Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University, as well as in collaboration with institutions across Minnesota. We intentionally provide audience's with a bounty of ways to access our music because of our passion for making chamber music come alive.
