PEARL RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE Forrest County Center, Hattiesburg - Main Campus, Poplarville - Hancock Center, Waveland In December, PRCC received final notification of reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Reaffirmation occurs every 10 years and is intended to assure constituents and the public of the quality and integrity of the institution. The Create a Career website ranked PRCC as the 23rd best community college in the country. The bestSchools.org website ranked PRCC as the 28th best community college in the country. The associate degree nursing program ranks highest in the state in an evaluation by NurseJournal.org. The program is ranked third out of 1,189 in the eastern U.S. CNN Money ranks PRCC tied at No.17 in the country in providing students a solid academic foundation on which to build continued education. The report shows 68 percent of PRCC students transfer to a four-year college or university.
