We were founded in 1937 as Model Finance Company in Battle Creek, Michigan. In 1971, we changed our name to Personal Finance Company, and shortly afterward, we were purchased by Securian Financial Group. In Spring of 2017, we were purchased by Mariner Finance, LLC. Because of this relationship, we are able to focus more on what we do best, personal loans with a personal touch.
