Taylor MacLellan Cochrane company description

Taylor MacLellan Cochrane proudly traces its roots in the Annapolis Valley back to 1835 when the founding Partners opened the very first law office in the Kings County Shire Town of Kentville. Since those early days, Taylor MacLellan Cochrane has become one of the largest law firms in Nova Scotia outside of metropolitan Halifax with offices in Kentville, Kingston, and Windsor and serving clients throughout the entire Province as well as clients in the Provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. The firm has a rich history of lawyers who have gone on to significant appointments to the bench in Nova Scotia and other notable public service positions. It is with considerable pride and appreciation that the lawyers and staff of Taylor MacLellan Cochrane count among the firm's clients, numerous municipal governments and agencies, major educational institutions, insurance brokers and underwriters, banks and other lending institutions, numerous large and small businesses, and numerous families and individuals. From its earliest days, Taylor MacLellan Cochrane has believed that individual client relationships are the most important asset to a successful law practice. This is why families and individuals are as important to the firm's historical and current success as our business and institutional clients. It is the principal reason why the firm continues making service a matter of practice
