The PJ Livesey Group is a privately-owned residential developer committed to building bespoke homes in some of the country's best locations. Since it was founded 40 years ago by Peter Livesey the company has restored and converted some of the country's finest listed buildings into unique homes gaining an enviable reputation for quality and legacy. The same skill and commitment to specification and quality is applied to new build schemes, whether stand-alone developments or standing alongside these listed assets. Peter is still at the helm and can often be found on site, be it down the road in Didsbury or at the other end of the country in Portsmouth. With a skilled in-house team and trusted bank of specialist contractors and master craftsmen the PJ Livesey Group completes around 150 bespoke homes a year. More with buildings like the Terry’s Chocolate Factory in York which converted to 163 apartments, fewer with projects like Ide Hall in Kent where we created 14 unique homes. Partnerships are a cornerstone to our success and our reputation for delivery and quality allows us to have excellent relationships with local authorities up and down the country; with Homes England to deliver quality new homes and with conservation groups such as English Heritage, the Victorian Society and local Civic Societies.
