Vestergaard is a global health and agriculture company that develops and manufactures insecticide-treated fabrics to fight malaria, combat sleeping sickness, and aid in crop protection. We are one of the world's largest producers of long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs). Founded in Denmark in 1957, Vestergaard is headquartered in Switzerland with R&D led from the USA. Manufacturing is located in Vietnam and we have a vector control research laboratory in Ghana. Teams operate across Africa and globally. Our products include PermaNet mosquito nets, which have protected more than 1 billion people from malaria; ZeroFly grain storage bags, which reduce post-harvest crop losses and improve food security in low- and middle-income countries; and Tiny Targets, a vector control tool contributing to the elimination of sleeping sickness in sub-Saharan Africa. We operate on a humanitarian entrepreneurship model: our commercial success funds continued innovation. Vestergaard has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2006 and a certified B Corporation since 2021.
