Wymap Group

Wymap Group company description

Most of what moves through Australian aviation never gets seen. Freight lands, and within hours it's on the road, connecting airports, terminals and warehouses across the country. Wymap is the company making that happen. Established in 1981, Wymap Group is Australia and New Zealand's leading airfreight transport company, providing road feeder services and specialised freight handling to the airlines, ground handlers and freight forwarders that keep both countries supplied. What that looks like in practice: - Road Feeder Services: time-critical freight moved interstate between airports, terminals and warehouses, day and night, with a fleet of 150+ vehicles - Local Airfreight: lodgement and recovery services connecting local freight networks to airport operations - Specialised Handling: the freight that needs more than a standard run, oversized, sensitive, time-critical We're registered on all major airports in Australia and New Zealand, one of the few transport operators in the region that can move freight directly between aircraft and the road network. As a neutral provider, we work alongside competing operators and deliver the same standard for all. Behind it all are 800+ people, drivers, operators and freight specialists who keep the network moving around the clock. Follow this page to see the operation and the people who make it run. Dedicated to the aviation sector, Wymap Transport and Wymap People have partnered with and been providing specialist services to the world’s largest airlines, airports, and freight forwarders on a global scale.
