Built for control
Your assistant gets your data, not your account.
Sign in, no keys
Most assistants connect with Sign in with GetProspect (OAuth), so there is no API key to paste into a chat or store in a config file.
Your workspace, your plan
The assistant acts as you, in the one workspace you pick when you sign in. It uses your existing plan and credits, with no extra subscription.
Nothing gets deleted
The 16 tools search, enrich, verify and save. None of them delete people, companies or lists.
Quotes before spend
Bigger paid calls return a quote and wait for your approval. Most assistants also ask before each tool call.
Every call on the record
MCP is its own source on the Usage page, so you can see how much your assistants used and spent.
Disconnect anytime
Settings, Security, Active sessions: click Disconnect and the assistant loses access within 15 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Which GetProspect plan do I need?
Any GetProspect account can connect, including the free plan. The assistant works in the workspace you pick when you sign in and uses that workspace's credits. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Is the GetProspect MCP server free?
Connecting is free, and so is most of what the assistant does: searching people and companies, looking up filter values, looking up companies and managing lists cost nothing. Credits are spent only when the assistant reveals an email or phone number, finds an email or verifies one.
Does the MCP server cost extra?
No. It uses your plan's credits, with no extra subscription. Searches are free; you pay only for emails revealed (once per contact), phone numbers found and email verifications.
How much does each action cost?
Revealing a new email costs 1 email credit, a phone number 1 phone credit, and a valid or invalid verdict 1 verification credit. Lookups that find nothing are free, and an email your workspace already owns is free again. Calls above 10 credits return a quote first. The full rules are in Credits and rate limits.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. In most assistants you add a custom connector, paste the server URL and sign in with GetProspect. You paste no API key and edit no config file. Developers can still use an API key in the x-api-key header for clients that only take headers.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Claude (web, Desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor, VS Code, Grok and Perplexity, plus any other MCP client that takes a server URL. Some assistants need one of their paid plans for custom connectors. Setup steps for each are in the MCP guide.
Will the assistant spend credits without asking?
A paid call worth up to 10 credits runs straight away. Above that, the server spends nothing and returns a quote with the worst case and your balance, and the assistant asks you before it goes on. The approved amount becomes a cap the call cannot go over. Most assistants also ask you to approve each tool call, so check it before you click.
How is MCP different from the GetProspect API?
The MCP server is for asking in plain language from an AI assistant: it picks the right calls for you. The REST API is for code and integrations you build. Both use the same data, the same credits and the same rate limits.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
In GetProspect, open Settings, then Security, find the assistant under Active sessions and click Disconnect. It can no longer refresh its sign-in, and an access token already issued stops working within 15 minutes. An API key stops working when you delete it.
