Plan usage limits for searches and lookups

Table of content

Every plan limits how fast you can search and look people up: per second, per minute and per day. Credits pay for the data you reveal; limits cap how much you can ask for in a given time. You see your limits and what you used today on the Usage page.

Before you begin

  • The limits apply to the whole workspace together, in every place you use GetProspect: the web app, the Chrome extension, the Google Sheets add-on, AI assistants (MCP) and the API. Teammates share them.
  • Verifying emails is never limited, on any plan.
  • Limits are free. Reaching one costs nothing and does not spend credits.

Limits per plan

Free5 / 20 / 1005 / 50 / 1005 / 50 / 250
Starter10 / 200 / 1,00010 / 300 / 2,00010 per second, no daily cap
Growth 5K20 / 400 / 4,00020 / 600 / 8,00020 per second, no daily cap

Growth 50K and above100 / 1,600 / 250,000100 / 2,400 / 500,000100 per second, no daily cap

A free workspace that holds unspent top-ups it bought is limited like Growth 5K. The day resets at 00:00 UTC.

What counts

The per-second limit counts requests. The per-minute and per-day limits count units:

  • Search: 1 unit per 25 results shown. A page of 25, 50 or 100 people or companies uses 1, 2 or 4 units. Searching within your saved lists uses none.
  • Enrich: 1 unit per person or company you look up, for example opening a LinkedIn profile in the extension or enriching a row. People and companies you already saved use none.
  • Email find: 1 unit per email lookup.

Big jobs count like the same lookups made one by one: exporting or saving search results, enriching a file and looking up mobile numbers. For example, saving a search of 10,000 people uses 400 search units. A job is checked when it starts. If today's remaining units cannot cover it, it does not start and nothing is charged: the message tells you how many units it needs, how many are left and when they reset. Units a job did not use go back to your limit when it ends. Exporting or saving people you ticked one by one, or people already in your lists, uses no search units.

What you see when you reach a limit

  • Web app: a strip above the results, for example "Search rate limit reached. Try again in 4m 10s or upgrade your plan for higher limits.", with Upgrade plan and View your limits. A job that does not fit says how many units it needs and how many are left.
  • Chrome extension: a full panel such as Search limit reached, "Your plan allows 100 searches per day." and when it resets, with Upgrade plan. A bulk save or Autosave pages to list stops, and the rows it did not save show "Not saved: plan limit reached". Very short limits (a second) are waited out for you.
  • Google Sheets add-on: "GetProspect rate limit reached: the remaining rows were not enriched. Try again later." Rows already filled stay.
  • AI assistants: the tool reports that the limit was reached and when to try again.
  • API: a 429 error with a Retry-After header. See API keys, rate limits and request logs.

FAQ

Do the limits spend credits?

No. Limits and credits are separate. A refused request or job is not charged.

Does the extension count against the same limits as the web app?

Yes. Every place you use GetProspect shares your workspace's limits.

When does the daily limit reset?

At 00:00 UTC every day. The extension and the web app show how long is left.

Is verifying emails limited?

No. Email verification is never limited, on any plan. It still uses verifier credits from your wallet.
