There are two ways how you can save leads on LinkedIn using the GetProspect Chrome email extractor extension:
- Save full profile information in Regular Mode
- Save short lead profile information in Scan Mode
Regular Mode
Regular Mode is set by default. In this mode, each time you save a lead in LinkedIn, the extension visits this lead's profile page and collects the following information:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Job title
- Location
- Country
- Postal code
- Summary
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Current company (company name, industry, size, website, headquarters address, HQ country, HQ postal code, description)
Important note: While using Regular Mode, each saved lead is considered a page view. Keep in mind that LinkedIn has a Commercial Use Limit.
In other words, when you're using Regular Mode, the following limits will be applied:
- 800 leads per 24 hours for regular LinkedIn search
- 1800 leads per 24 hours for Sales Navigator search
Scan Mode
While using Scan Mode, the GP extension won't visit a lead's profile page, and only the information available on the search page will be saved, which is:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Current company
- Job title
- Location
- Country
- LinkedIn profile URL
This information is sufficient for GetProspect to find emails for the leads.
If possible, GetProspect will enrich the company information from the internal database.
Important note: When using Scan Mode, in some cases, the current company doesn't appear in the search results, which makes it impossible for GetProspect to start searching for an email. Hence, a lead without a Current company cannot be saved.
For this reason, the Scan Mode accuracy is lower compared to the Regular Mode one.
Note: You cannot enable Scan Mode while adding leads by their LinkedIn profile URLs.
